It’s official now. Kajal Agarwal will be the heroine of Suriya’s ‘Maatraan’, which will be directed by K V Anand. “Yes, I am part of the movie. And I am thrilled about it,” says the actress.

She further says: “Heroines of K V Anand’s films would have enough importance. They would not be used for the purpose of glamour alone. Even this film (‘Maatraan’) too is an example to it.”

Happy about sharing the screen space with Suriya, Kajal says, “It’s my longtime wish to act with Suriya. I am eagerly expecting the day of shooting.” Remember Kajal was the heroine of ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’, which had Karthi, Suriya’s younger brother, in lead role.

In the meantime, ‘Maaveeran’, the Tamil dubbing version of ‘Magadheera’, in which Kajal is the heroine, will hit the screens come Friday. The actress has played a princess in it and hopes that the magic will be repeated.
